Aleksandra Crvenica is one of the founders of the Environment Programme. Within the organization, she serves as the Secretary of the Assembly, providing support for its work, organizational functioning, and strategic development. She specializes in project management, policy development, and organizational development, with over twenty years of professional experience working with international organizations, institutions, and civil society organizations.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology of the University of Montenegro, and earned a Master's degree in Economics with a specialization in Organizational Management from the University of Montenegro. During her career, she has been engaged with the OSCE Mission in Montenegro, UN Women, the World Bank, SNV, and USAID, as well as on numerous EU and UN projects, with a special focus on public policy development and monitoring, strategic planning, project evaluation, and gender equality.
She is the author and co-author of numerous analyses, evaluations, and strategic documents in the fields of good governance, citizen participation, and civil society development, which have been used in public policy-making processes.
