EnvPro is looking for two new members to join our team.

Employment place: Podgorica, Montenegro, with field missions as perrequirements

Employment start date: September 1st 2026

Employment duration: 3 months probation, 2 year project based, with possibility for a permanent position

Position 1: Technical Officer - Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Resilience

About the Role

EnvPro is seeking a Technical Officer to support its work on disaster risk assessment and modelling, climate risk and adaptation,ecosystem-based approaches, and nature-based solutions. The successful candidate will provide technical support across ongoing projects, working closely with international experts and the project coordination team.

Key Responsibilities

•      Support data collection and data analysis.

•     Undertake hazard and risk modelling for several climate hazards.

•     Assessclimate-related risks and support the design and implementation of adaptationand mitigation measures.

•     Developand apply ecosystem-based approaches and nature-based solutions (NbS) todisaster risk reduction and climate resilience initiatives.

•     Provide GIS support, including spatial analysis and mapping.

•     Contribute with technical expertise to project design, implementation, monitoring, andreporting.

Reporting line: Reports directly to the Executive Director. Works closely with, and provides support and technical work to, international experts in modelling, disaster risk reduction, ecosystem-based approaches, and climate change, as well as the project coordinator.

 

Requirements

•     University degree in natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.

•     A Master's degree or higher is considered an advantage.

•     Minimum two years of relevant working experience, preferably in the areas listed above; additional experience is an advantage.

•     Knowledge on Python and/or on hydrological/hydraulic modelling would be considered an additional advantage.

•     Experience in project development and management is considered an advantage.

•     Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

•     Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.

 
Position 2: Communications Officer

About the Role

EnvPro is seeking a Communications Officer to lead the development and implementation of the organization's internal and external communication strategies, strengthen its visibility, and support stakeholder engagement across its projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement internal and externalcommunication plans, which may include but are not limited to:

•     Managing EnvPro's communication tools, website, and social media channels.

•     Media relations and cooperation with partners and stakeholders.

•     Stakeholder engagement and coordination of related activities.

•     Planning and supporting events.

•     Preparing publications, visibility, and communication materials.

 

Reporting line: Reports directly to the Executive Director. Works closely with, and provides support and technical work to, national experts in communications, stakeholder engagement, participation and inclusion, as well as the project coordinator, technical staff and the finance/administration team.

Requirements

•     University degree; a Master's degree is considered an advantage.

•     Minimum two years of relevant working experience, preferably in communications and environmental affairs; additional experience is an advantage.

•     Knowledge of environmental topics is considered an advantage.

•     Design and IT skills are considered an advantage.

•     Experience in project development and management is considered an advantage.

•     Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

•     Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally.
